The leader of a Crew consisting of more than eight people and at least one production team member can start a new Crew while remaining leader of the old Crew. These two crews will then belong to the same Federation.

The Design team is still in charge of “Designing” the game. Crews just grab bits of the already-designed vision and interpret that vision and work on it. Each Crew is allowed one designer.
It's important for teams to study our documentation HERE (scroll right) and stick to our values and mission.
Then your Crew is in charge of creating those high-level goals. EndFragment
Yes, as long as your game fits our theme well enough to be distributed to the marketing Discord. EndFragment
Your Crew can go help that Crew in this case. Tip: When it comes to code architecture you should architect your code in such a way that you avoid dependence on any other Crew if possible.
Go help that Crew before moving on.
Start a Crew.
The whole point of this organization is to empower, train and grow people and you learn almost nothing by doing things yourself. Rather you should attempt tasks together with others so you can grow personally. However, if you want to work on your own you can. The only condition is that your Crew page stays active once a week. Post something on there as often as you can to show it’s still active.
Crew leaders may remove members and open the slot for others.
Make a Crew. Any Crew which does not have a post at least once per week on their Crew page can have their Northstar taken over by another Crew. If they become active again they are now a part of your Crew.
Once a Crew achieves its mission it’s disbanded so that its members will push its genius throughout the rest of the org. If you want to stay together you must recruit 4 new, non-P1 members in a week after you finish your Northstar and set them up on other Crews. Then you can choose a new Northstar together. You can also do this throughout your Crew’s existence, just keep a track on who you send forth.
Break down your goal into smaller bite-sized chunks. Ask an outside producer to help you do a retrospective https://trello.com/c/y4m9ACg1
Anyone from any other Crew can help your Crew solve a problem you need help with without joining the Crew.
Start a crew!
You want to try to focus your energy and effort on stuff that will likely be used as early in the game as possible. This will allow you to avoid wasting your effort.
Just do it.
Teams have a heavy focus on standards, documentation, follow-up and mentorship. Crews cut right to the work. Teams allow cross-Crew communication and teamwork. Teams also set up the framework Crews use to do the actual work. For example, the Art Team makes sure the art style is cohesive and that each Crew’s art fits the art style
Nothing of the traditional way of doing things stops working. Anyone can create any task at any time for anyone else and anyone can do that task. It's just you may need to reach out to other people on your team (not Crew) to do that task.
